East Leeds Orbital Route (ELOR) – Phase 1 Junction Improvement Works

Please accept our apologies for the confusion our recent letter created regarding a new temporary arrangement to the Scott Hall Road/Stonegate Road roundabout as part of the ongoing junction
improvement works.
As you may be aware, the phasing of these civil engineering works is complex but we are now close to completion.
We are aware the scheme has been as challenging for residents, businesses and other users of this network as it has been for the contractors and the delivery team but please be assured we have continued to actively review our processes and mitigate disruption where possible.
Our target completion date is the 20th November. The final phasing required to achieve this completion date will also be challenging but to allow further progress with the specific re-modelling of the Scott Hall Road/Stonegate Road roundabout, and all final road surfacing and the activation of the new traffic signal equipment, temporary closures and diversions will be required commencing on Monday 7th October.
These closures are detailed overleaf and further information on the diversion routes will be available on the project website www.elor.uk week commencing 30th September.
Further information and updates including specific access arrangements will be provided for those directly affected prior to commencement of each phase.

We apologise in advance for any inconvenience these works may cause and appreciate your continued patience and support. If you have any concerns please do not hesitate to contact our Public liaison, Social Value and Educational Skills coordinator, Cherie Paterson on 07547936099 or email: elor@leeds.gov.uk
If you would like to be kept informed of up to date information regarding the project, please visit our website at www.elor.uk and sign up for email updates and the monthly newsletter. In addition, you are welcome to visit the ELOR Project Offices at Redhall, Ring Road, LS17 8NJ, between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday, where project staff are on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Yours faithfully
Rob O’Brien
