On 27th June the ELOR Project Team rose to the challenge of completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks.  A team of 15 members from Leeds City Council, Balfour Beatty and Atkins completed the challenge in less than 12 hours.  The route is 24 miles (38.6 km)  and includes 1585m (5200 feet) of assent .  They walked to the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Wernside, and Ingleborough.

All monies raised will go to the ELOR charity St Gemma’s Hospice. There was real team spirit on the day and although it was one of the hottest days of the year we smiled our way through it .

The final total raised was £1563.75.
